- Is the apartment suitable for an Executive Rental?
- Absolutely, the apartment is 10 minutes away from the Manly ferry terminal. There you can catch a 15 minute fast ferry into the Sydney CBD (central business district). If you need to get to North Sydney, there is a fast bus that stops just around the corner from the apartment. Ferries run from early morning (6:10am) until late at night (12:20am). The apartment has free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access available throughout the apartment, on both levels. The dining room can be used as a home office, as we do. If you want to keep fit or get fit, then you can't beat swimming or running the beach early morning or in the evenings.
- What is the best way to get to the apartment from the airport?
- Taxis from the airport cost $55-$70 and take 30-40 mins. Airport Shuttle Buses take 45-60 mins. Contact Manly Airport Bus (02-9981-1453, $28 1 pax, $38 2 pax, surcharge for extra luggage), Northside Shuttle Airport Transfers (02-9401-4654) or Collaroy Airport Shuttle (02-9984-1420). For public transport, take the train to Circular Quay station and then the ferry to Manly, trip takes 45-60 mins (131668 or www.131500.com.au).
- Is there a supermarket or shop nearby?
- There is a convenience store around the corner from the apartment (approx. 30 m) that is well stocked and open extended hours. A short walk away (5 min) there is a great deli/supermarket that we use for our weekly shopping. A longer walk away (10 min) in Manly village there are 2 large supermarkets plus bakers, butchers, fruit & vegetable shops, organic grocers, markets, pharmacies, clothes and gift shops – anything you could possibly want!
- How close is public transport to the apartment?
- One block away there is a bus stop which takes you into Manly village, to other beaches on the North Side, to the ferry terminal and to a large, nearby shopping mall. Two blocks away there is another bus stop that takes you to the ferry terminal and to North Sydney, Sydney CBD and other suburbs. All buses run frequently and all days of the week until early morning hours.
- Does the apartment have free Internet access?
- Yes, there is free high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access available throughout the apartment, on both levels. When you book we provide you with a "welcome pack" that includes the Wi-Fi password.
- Is the apartment fully equipped? Will I need to bring anything other than food items?
- The apartment should have most things that you would need for a lovely relaxed stay. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences, including blender, food processor, mixer, even cookbooks! All you need is your bathing suit and suitcase for a wonderful, relaxed beach-side vacation!
- Can additional cleaning be arranged?
- Yes, we can arrange additional cleaning to meet your requirements at an additional fee. Contact us to find out the cost and frequency.
- How do I book the apartment?
- Click the Contact Form at the top of the site and send us a message. Please fill in your details and requested dates so that we can give you the best price possible. We are pleased to offer discounts for longer term rentals.
